Copenhagen plans to divest from fossil fuels

The Danish capital is at the forefront of world cities in the green transition.

The mayor of Copenhagen has announced the city will withdraw the city’s £700m investment fund out of coal, oil and gas holdings. This new direction is in line with the city’s pursuit of a green profile, as Copenhagen is currently at the forefront of world cities in the green transition, and  working hard to become the world’s first CO2 neutral capital in 2025.
