The Local Goods Store
Hannie Dankbaarpassage 39 (De Hallen) , 1053 RT Amsterdam

The Local Goods Store is a concept store in De Hallen that only sells locally produced goods, as its name implies. The store was opened up after the success of the Local Goods Market, that is still being organised every other weekend. In this store, you cannot only find the best brands from the markets, but you are also welcome to enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

In times of flagship stores and mass production, the Local Goods Store wants to bring more attention to the sleeping retail scene. It is not a store in the traditional sense, since it  also functions as a working space. Both the Local Goods Market and the Local Goods Store were initiated by Pakhuis de Zwijger. In the Local Good Stores, retailers and producers are given a space to display their products and other creations.
