Those who stop at the nine gates of Margaret Street find themselves in a very special place: a little piece of the countryside in the heart of Buda.

It was designed by a group of young architects on a limited budget, who redeveloped an old structure into a simple, authentic place with natural materials. In addition to a bar (where they offer craft beers, wines, spirits, all kinds of sandwich combinations and, of course, palinka), a small Hungarian handicraft and local farmer shop is overlooking the courtyard. A variety of events, including movie nights, workshops and lectures take place in the garden courtyard.
